The Buzz of Greater Rome RENEGADES OPEN AT HOME MARCH 25 The Rome Renegades open their first season with a Friday night game against the Montgomery Maulers. The National Indoor Football League schedule, including Rome's 14 games, was posted today (click HERE for the league schedule). The Renegades have been placed in the new Central Division in the Atlantic Conference. The Renegades share this division with the Maulers and the Fayetteville, N.C., Heat, both expansion teams to the NIFL in 2005. The two-conference league will allow the top team in each of its six divisions a spot in the playoffs along with two wild cards. The Renegades home field is The Forum. The seven home games include three on Friday nights, three on Saturday nights and one on Sunday. The schedule is as follows (home games in bold).
